The Vivo Y20 (2021) features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. We get the MediaTek Helio P35, an octa-core processor built on a 12nm manufacturing process in terms of processing power. It has four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. There is only a single RAM and storage variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a dedicated microSD slot.

In terms of optics, we get a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor coupled with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor coupled with an f/2.2 lens. Coming to the front, we get an 8-megapixel sensor coupled with an f/1.8 lens. Powering it up is a 5000 mAh cell that supports proprietary fast charging.

The phone runs on FuntouchOS 11, which is based on Android 11. For connectivity, we get Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB OTG, Micro-USB, FM radio, 3G, and 4G with support for dual sim active 4G. And for sensors, we get the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is available in two color options: Dawn White and Nebula Blue. The smartphone starts at 150 USD, and for now, it is only launched in Malaysia. We will have to wait and see when this device will reach out to other markets as well. As of now, there is no information on it.
