The Vivo Y20G features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by the dated MediaTek Helio G80, built on a 12nm manufacturing process. This is an octa-core processor consisting of 2 Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 10 out of the box with Funtouch OS 11 skin on top of it.

We get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single selfie camera in terms of cameras. The triple setup consists of a 13MP primary sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP depth sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP macro sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. Moving to the front side, we see an 8MP sensor paired with an f/1.8 lens. Both the front and rear setups are limited to only 1080p video recording.

There is only one storage variant of the smartphone, which offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD slot. In terms of communications, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM radio, and MicroUSB 2.0. For sensors, we get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. Powering all of it is a huge 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. This smartphone is available in two colour options: Purist Blue and Obsidian Black.
