After introducing it on the iOS, now WhatsApp v2.18.363 brings group call feature to its Android users. This feature allows the user to make group calls with people present in their respective contacts list. Group calling feature is still in its beta form and is under development. It may not work for everyone who may update to it via Beta program.
The group calling feature works similarly to that of iOS. All you need to do is press the Group call button. You can see it on the right side a phone symbol with the + sign. After tapping on that button, you will see a list of Group participants that you can connect to via call. Remember that it is limited to users on your Contacts list only.
As you select your preferred contacts from the list provided, you will see a voice and a video button. Then select anyone depending upon the type of the call you prefer.
Though WhatsApp v2.18.363 Brings Group Call Feature to Android, it is only a closed beta version. It is going through phases of improvements and test. This feature will remotely roll out in subsequent beta versions. However, if you want to try it now, you have to enroll in the WhatsApp Beta on Google Play.
Lately, the messaging App has introduced a lot of new features for both its iOS and Android platforms. Speaking of which, WhatsApp recently introduced third party sticker pack Ralph Breaks the Internet. It is based on the movie of the same name.
