Xiaomi Mi Box Android Oreo Update Now Rolling Out Globally

In a surprise move, Xiaomi is now rolling out the Mi Box Android oreo update globally for its users. This device only received a public beta of Android Nougat close to one year after its market release. Though around last month, a beta update was seeding for a few users. Hopefully, now he stable iteration of Oreo is knocking into the Mi Box.

Mi Box Android Oreo update thankfully brings the Google Assistant support. Along with that, the latest software upgrade also packs a new task switcher, HDR, and Picture-in-Picture(PiP) mode. It also comes with the latest security enhancements.

As of now, the Mi Box Android Oreo update is knocking into the users in the USA, Philippines, Canada, Portugal, and Australian region. This also includes the users who are on the previous nougat public beta version. As it is a global update it will eventually reach all devices around the world.
