Activating for all available titles

  1. Go to the Home Screen
  2. From there, go into Settings
  3. Then, select Captions
  4. Finally, turn Caption Mode to ON or Always ON, whichever is available. When you do this, the movies and series having subtitles will show them as soon as you start playing

Activating for individual titles

  1. First, choose one title of your choice and start playing it
  2. While the title is playing, press any of the arrows on your remote’s arrow pad or the play/pause button
  3. This brings up the video player controls. When this happens, toggle the caption icon(CC button) on the lower right corner into an orange color. This activates the caption for that title
  4. In case you see the caption icon greyed on a title, it simply means that subtitle isn’t available for that show

  1. Open the Tubi TV app
  2. Go into its Settings
  3. From Settings, scroll down through the left pane until you get to Closed Captions

Activating for a specific title

  1. From the Tubi TV app, select a title of your choice
  2. On the top right side of your screen by the title’s maturity rating, you’ll see the captions icon(CC button). If you don’t see this icon there, then that means the video doesn’t have captions available
  3. After selecting a title with captions available, start playing it
  4. After the ad break, the actual video will begin. While the show is playing, press the play/pause button on your remote
  5. This brings up the video player controls. Using your remote, select the caption icon(CC button), which is seen on the bottom right corner
  6. Selecting it will highlight the icon in orange color. When it’s highlighted in orange, hit the middle of your scroll pad to turn it on and the captions will be activated for that video

Activating for all the available videos

  1. Open the Tubi TV app on your Android device
  2. Then, click on the Account tab on the bottom of the screen
  3. Finally, turn on the Captions option. This will now display captions for all videos that have captions available

Activating for specific videos

  1. Start playing a video of your choice in the Tubi TV app
  2. While it’s playing, tap on the screen
  3. On the top right corner, you’ll see the Caption icon(CC button). Simply click on this to activate captions. If it’s activated, the icon will turn into orange color

  1. Go into the Settings on your iPhone or iPad

Activating for individual videos

  1. Open the Tubi TV app on your iPhone or iPad and start playing a title of your choice
  2. While the video is playing, tap on the screen to show the video control options

  4. From the list of available subtitle languages, choose the one of your choice and tap done.
