How to complete the Unfinished Business Quest in Destiny 2 Lightfall
After completing the Lightfall campaign in Destiny 2, you can acquire the Unfinished Business quest. This quest has 13 steps that you need to complete, which are listed below as they are in the game:
1. Go to the Hall of Heroes.
2. Visit Nimbus to find out why they left Rohan’s induction ceremony early.
3. Collect Cipher Qubits from the Vex and use them to extract Rohan’s data from Cloud Accretions in Neomuna.
4. Locate the final data packet in Maya’s Retreat.
5. Survive the Vex attack and recover the data packet from their conflux.
6. Regroup with Nimbus and Osiris in Radiosonde to find out what was in Rohan’s notes.
7. Retrieve a Vex compass from the Lost Sector in Límíng Harbor.
8. Create chaos in Ahimsa Park to draw Shadow Legion forces away from Calus’s ship. The more you use your abilities to defeat combatants, the more mayhem you create.
9. The passkey’s other component is a Seed of Silver Wings. One can be found in Calus’s trove deep within the Typhon Imperator.
10. Return to Nimbus in Striders’ Gate to build the passkey.
11. Complete the mission “What Remains.”
12. Bring the Conceptual Mind’s memory core to Nimbus in Striders’ Gate.
13. Go to the Hall of Heroes to honor those who cut their years short for the sake of humanity.
Once you have completed the campaign, the first step of the Unfinished Business Quest is to visit Nimbus. This will leads you to the Hall of Heroes, thus opening up a new space in the social area on Neomuna. This new space is teeming with all sorts of challenges and activities that are sure to keep players busy and entertained.
How to get Cipher Qubits and Cloud Accretions in Unfinished Business Quest in Destiny 2 Lightfall
The quest then proceeds by asking you to collect Cipher Qubits from Vex and use them to extract Rohan’s data from cloud accretions on Neomuna. This step requires you to kill Vex on the destination, who have a chance to drop the Cipher Qubits. Once you earn eight of them, you’re able to extract the planetary resource, which are Silver Cloud accretions found on the destination. To complete the quest, you need to collect a total of five of these resources.
The easiest way to do this is to kill as many Vex as possible and collect 40 Cipher Qubits. Once you have 40, you can start collecting the Cloud Accretions. These crystal materials are essential to complete the Unfinished Business mission, and you can find them in Neomuna.
However, finding Cloud Accretions can be quite difficult as they are scattered around the planes and can be hard to notice. To make this task easier, you can use the Resource Detector in the Liming Harbor region. Activating the Resource Detector is a simple process that involves inspecting your Ghost companion, selecting the Tracking Ghost mods option, choosing the Resource Detector mod, and searching for Cloud Accretion materials.
By following these steps, you can save a significant amount of time and effort in their quest to collect these crystals. Additionally, it’s important to note that you need only five of them. Collect all five of the resources you need by simply traveling around the destination and picking up the planetary materials. Once you have five of them, the next step is to locate the final data packet in Maya’s Retreat.
How to survive the Vex attack
If you look on the bottom right-hand side of the map, you will see the new exotic quest location, and you can set a waypoint for that. Once you travel to the location, it will tell you to survive the Vex attack and recover the data packet from their conflux. Interact with the conflux, then kill all of the Vex that spawn. This is a challenging step in the quest, but it is well worth the effort.
Once that step is complete, you need to regroup with Nimbus and Osiris in Radiosonde. To do this, you need to navigate through one of the zones on the outer edge of the map, and you will eventually catch up with Osiris and Nimbus.
Following this, you need to retrieve a Vex compass from the Lost sector in Liming Harbor. This will have a destination marker on the map, and the requirement is to complete the Lost sector by killing the final boss and getting the cache key. When you open that chest, you’ll get the Vex Compass, which is a key item in the quest.
Next, you need to create chaos in Ahimsa Park to draw Shadow Legion forces away from Calus’s ship. This will produce an exotic waypoint on the map, and you simply need to head to that zone and earn 100 points by killing enemies. The more enemies you kill with abilities, the quicker you’ll make progress.
Callus’s Ship – Completing the Unfinished Business Quest
The next step is to head back into the Typhon Imperator, which is Calus’s ship. This is on the far right-hand side of the Neomuna map, and there will be another exotic waypoint. You need to head all the way through Calus’s ship to a big circular room, where you need to take out all of the Cabal. There will be a collectible in the front and the back of the room, both of which need to be picked up to produce the Passkey. You can take this Passkey back to Nimbus, who will give you Rohan’s Passkey.
The final step of the quest is to complete a mission called “What Remains.” This takes you back into the Black Garden. It’s a 1770 power mission but not too difficult to do in a fireteam, especially if you’ve already done the campaign. It is a self-explanatory mission, and you won’t need a lot of guidance to finish it.
Eventually, toward the end of the mission, you will catch up with Nimbus, and he’ll grant you the weapon. There’s a final boss fight in the mission where you actually get the opportunity to use it, and you finally get the Deterministic Chaos weapon. After the series of challenging missions, your reward is the Exotic Void Power Machine Gun called Deterministic Chaos.
The Deterministic Chaos is a powerful weapon that has two unique perks: Heavy Metal and Vexadecimal. With the Heavy Metal perk, every fourth bullet fired from the weapon weakens its target, making it easier for players to take them down. Meanwhile, the Vexadecimal perk makes every fourth bullet fired from the weapon volatile, increasing the damage dealt to enemies.
Thus, after completing this hefty mission you will be able to get your rewards, including the weapon Deterministic Chaos. We hope that this guide was useful in your quest to finish the Unfinished Business Quest in Destiny 2 Lightfall.
