[Download] Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 10 with MIUI 11.0.2.0.QGGEUXM

Recently we saw a huge shift in Xiaomi to roll Android 10 to many of their devices. Today, Xiaomi started seeding the stable Android 10 with MIUI 11 for Redmi Note 8 Pro (codenamed begonia) globally. The update hits with software version V11.0.2.0.QGGEUXM and brings the latest security patches. As we speak, the update is live for the devices in India as a beta.

As per the screenshot shared by the user, the update carries the size of 1.90GB via OTA and brings January 2020 (not confirmed) security patch along with some other improvements. With the Android 10, Google introduced system-wide dark mode, iOS-like Gesture Navigation, upgraded system UI, privacy controls, and Focus Mode.

Check OTA update on Redmi Note 8 Pro

You should manually check the software update as the OTA is waving gradually. Head over to the device Settings > About Phone > System update to check it. However, you can download and install the update manually on your device.

After downloading it, go to device Settings > About Phone > System update > tap 10 times on the MIUI logo > then tap on the 3-dot icon at the upper right corner and select Choose update package.

Search for the update package from the ‘downloaded_rom‘ folder of the internal storage on your device and tap to select the file. It will install and upgrade your device to the latest version.

Redmi Note 8 Pro: Overview

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone features a 6.53-inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It’s powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with 6/8GB of RAM and packs a 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In terms of the camera specifications, the handset packs a Quad 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, a secondary 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens and a third 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. While the front features a 20MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture lens. It features AI Face Unlock option as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie on the top of MIUI 10 custom skin. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with fast charging support. In terms of the connectivity options, the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5, and USB Type-C port, and more. The phone includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor.
