1. Register with OpenSubtitles Account

  • First of all, you should register your new account with the OpenSubtitles service from the official link: https://www.opensubtitles.org and simply register your account.

2. Select Add-Ons on Kodi

  • Once you create the account, run your Kodi streaming device > Click on Add-ons.

  • Then hit Enter and click on the Settings icon from your home screen.
  • You’ll need to open the Player settings > Click on the basic icon next to the cog icon.
  • Change it to Standard > Select the specific Language that you want to display.

6. Access Subtitle Features and Download Languages

  • After clicking on languages, a drop-down menu will appear.
  • Now, click on languages to download subtitles.
  • Select your preferred language for Kodi > Click on Default TV show service.
  • Next, set up subtitles for your favorite TV shows.
  • You can also click on More to open a list of subtitles that will show up in the drop-down menu.
  • Again you’ll need to locate OpenSubtitles.org and download the file.
  • Once the download completes, click on OpenSubtitles.org and start the installation process.
  • You’ll have to open the default movie service and choose the Opensubstitles.org option again.
  • Then confirm the changes by clicking on Okay.
  • Finally, go to Settings > Click on Language and set Opensubtitles.org as a default for subtitles.

What If Kodi Subtitles Still Not Working?

  • Go to Settings > Click on Add-ons.
