Both the Xiaomi Poco F3 and X3 Pro are one of the popular devices in 2021 that brings killer hardware with a sub-par software combo. Although both the models have stunning camera specs on paper, as a user you may not find it useful in real life. If that’s the scenario, you can Download Google Camera for Poco F3 and Poco X3 Pro (Gcam APK) in this article.
Xiaomi Redmi and Poco lineup devices are always playing a role of an all-rounder budget or mid-budget segment that delivers each & every aspect to the users. However, somewhere between the lines, it seems that although the hardware is good enough, the software excellence, as well as the camera results are not that satisfactory. So, what that mean actually?
Well, due to the lack of powerful software algorithms, mid-budget segment devices don’t offer the excellent image quality what users expect according to the on-paper megapixels count or a wide range of camera sensors. Therefore, users start looking for third-party camera apps and stuck with the Google Camera (Gcam) application due to its mind-blowing performance.

What is a Google Camera App (GCam)?
Google Camera (GCam) is a standard camera app for Android devices that offers a simple, easy-to-use interface along with a powerful algorithm for better image processing. As it’s a stock camera application for Google Pixel devices, the performance is top-notch. But non-Pixel Android device users can also use the ported Google Camera app versions according to their device model.
A big thanks to all of the ported GCam app developers who’re working hard to bring you a wide range of Google Camera app versions for almost every Android device model relentlessly. So, the interested Android device users can download and install the ported GCam APK file for free & the same camera specs will start performing like a beast in mobile photography.
Actually, there is no match between the stock MIUI camera app and the so-called Google Camera app. If you’re a mobile photography lover or make vlogs using your Poco F3 or Poco X3 Pro mobile, the Google Camera application is the best as of now. There are no better alternatives currently.

Steps to Install Google Camera on Poco Devices
The Google Camera APK file installation process is as simple as installing any other third-party APK file. Neither you need to root nor enable Camera2 API on your device for this. Just follow the below steps to easily install the Google Camera app.
- Make sure that the Unknown Sources option is enabled on your device. Head over to the device Settings menu > Security/Privacy > Enable it. [If already enabled, skip to the installation]
- Now, download the GCam APK file according to your model or preference from the download link above on your phone.
- Head over to the File Manager app and tap on the downloaded GCam APK file.
- It will initiate the package installer interface > Tap on Install.
- The app will start installing and once it’s done, tap on Open to start using it.
- You’re done.
However, if the GCam camera app doesn’t install or doesn’t work properly (crashing), then make sure to re-enable the Camera2 API mode on your handset by using the build.prop editor on your File Manager in order to give access to the system. The following command line needs to be added to the build.prop editor and save it.
Once done, restart your handset and try installing the GCam APK file again on your device using the same above method. Hope it will work perfectly.
