How to fix the no SIM card error in your Samsung Galaxy F41?

Before you go on ahead and try all these basic fixes, make sure that your SIM card is inserted into the SIM slot of your phone correctly. Also, make sure that it is not a new SIM card pending approval. And if you are experiencing this issue in a new location, then first make sure that there is network coverage for your network in that particular location.

Turn Airplane mode on and off:

Airplane mode disables all wireless system functions on your phone. Turning it on and then off will restart the entire wireless network system on your phone. So this might be able to fix the no SIM error in your Samsung Galaxy F41.

To turn on the Airplane Mode, go to Apps > Settings > Connections > Airplane Mode. Here turn on the toggle for Airplane mode, and the feature will turn on. Now restart your phone using the power button to give the services and apps on your phone a restart. Then go to the Airplane mode menu again and turn off the toggle for it. After the Airplane mode is turned off, your communication services will resume again. Now your nor SIM card error should go away. If for some reason you still see the error, then try the next solution.

Force restart the phone:

If the no SIM card issue showed up without any reason, then the chances are that it is a software glitch conflicting with the network services of your phone. In such a scenario, a hard reset is the best option as it will clear out all stuck apps and services on your phone. A hard reset is equivalent to what happens when you disconnect the battery from the phone and then connect it again.

To force restart the phone, press and hold the volume down button and the power key for around 10 seconds. Then you will see the Samsung logo screen on your phone. Let go of the two buttons when you see the logo screen. Wait till the phone boots up normally. Now check whether the no SIM error is gone or not. If you still see the error, then move on to the next fix.

Reinsert SIM card:

If for some reason the SIM card is dislodged in the SIM card tray then you might face the no SIM card issue there. So you can try reinserting the SIM correctly in the SIM tray and check if that solves the problem.

Firstly, turn off your smartphone completely. Then get the pin ejector tool that you got with the retail box of the phone and use it to push into the small hole in the SIM tray. It will push the SIM tray out. Here, check if the SIM card is placed correctly in the SIM tray or not. For confirmation, take the SIM card out of the tray and put it there again. Now push the SIM tray back into the slot and turn on your Samsung Galaxy F41. After the device boots up, check if the no SIM card issue is gone or not. If for some reason you still see the error, then try the next potential fix.

Factory reset:

If all else fails, this is the ultimate solution for any software glitch. A factory reset is a complete reset of the phone which means you will lose every bit of data present in your internal memory. This includes even messages and call logs. So before going ahead with this method, make sure to make a backup of everything necessary in your phone. After you have backed up the required data, you are ready for the reset. After the reset is done, it will be like you have a new smartphone in your hands.

Additional Troubleshoot:

To perform the factory reset in your Samsung Galaxy F41, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset. Then inside the Factory data reset menu, tap on Reset and then tap on “Delete All” in the next page. Depending upon the data in your internal storage, this might take a while. Wait till the reset is done, and after that, it will be like you have a brand new phone in your hands. Now check whether the no SIM card issue is gone or not. If it is still there, then it is probably a faulty SIM card or faulty hardware of your phone causing the problem.

To check if the SIM is having issues or the phone, insert another SIM card in your phone that you know works. If you see the signal on this other SIM, then the problem is definitely with the other SIM card. In that case, contact your nearest service provider’s office and get the SIM replaced right away. But if there is still no signal even for the other SIM card, then the problem is definitely with the device. In that case, go to your nearest Samsung Care, and they should be able to resolve your issue.
