We will be flashing two firmware with build CLT-L09 C432 – Build 9.0.0.108 and CLT-L29 C432 – Build 9.0.0.108 respectively. Android 9.0 Pie is the latest offering from Google. It brings in a plethora of features such as the Digital Wellbeing, adaptive battery, App slices, improved Autofil API, suggestions based on App usage. It will also pack some Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 based update such as simple and revamped interface, password vault, digital balance etc.
Huawei P20 Pro released in April 2018 and it flaunts a 6-inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 X 2240 pixels. It runs on Octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 970. It comes with options for RAM of 6 and 8 GB. The device packs options 128 and 256 GB of non-expandable internal storage. This phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with EMUI 8.1. Now, that we have the necessary files, we should go ahead with the firmware installation process. However, before that, you have to follow a few common guidelines which are an important part of this process. We have put them up in the section below.
Pre-Requisites
- Charge your device up to 70% or more.
- You have to unlock the bootloader of your Huawei P20 Pro.
- Ensure that you’ve taken a complete backup of your device data before performing this procedure.

Step-1 First download the ROM zip files for your respective devices and the TOOL v0.2
Step-2 Now Extract The TOOL
Step-3 After that extract the firmware bundle. You’ll see two ZIP files and some XML files.
Step-4 Inside the folder you’ve extracted look for the file FLASH.bat.
Step-5 It will guide you through rest of the procedure.
