Is Moto G6 Play Waterproof smartphone?

Motorola is a Google-owned company, and it is known for making quality smartphones with stock Android experience. And Moto G6 Play is not an exception. The device is officially launched on April of this year and is currently available in the market for 10,703 INR. As per the price tag, the device seems to be a budget-oriented smartphone. Before proceeding without Moto G6 Play waterproof test, let us get to know its specifications. Moto G6 Play comes with a beautiful and vibrant 5.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 by 1440 pixels. It is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Moto G6 Play comes with an onboard storage of 32 GB which you can bump up to 128 GB via a MicroSD card. Talking about the camera department. It is packing a 13 MP primary camera and 8 MP selfie camera. Now we are done with the specifications, let’s start without Moto G6 Play waterproof test.

Moto G6 Play Splash Proof Test

In Splash proof test, we will test the device to withstand an accidental water splash to see whether the device survives in such condition. Since Moto G6 Play does not have any kind of proper IP68 waterproof ratings, it might or might not survive this test.

So when we subject Moto G6 Play to artificial water splash, the device seems to work fine. No damage is registered at all.
