Google introduced Android OS back in 2007 as beta and since then, the Android OS has come a long way in its tenth-generation i.e Android 10 which has million times more features and capability than the first Android 1.0. Ulefone is one of the best smartphone brands in the sector for more than 5 years now. It has a string of devices launched every year starting from 2013 till this year when it has already launched more than 6 smartphones of which, many are running on Android Pie 9.0 while others have Android Oreo 8.1 and Go Edition.
Google introduced the beta version of Android 10 a few months ago and as per the timeline, it already introduced beta updates for all Pixel devices, Essential Phone, and 21 other supporting non-pixel devices. On September 3rd, it made the OS official after renaming it to Android 10. Note that Google will follow the same nomenclature for the successors as well.
The upcoming Android 10 brings plenty of features onboard such as a system-wide Dark Mode similar to iOS 13. It will bring an improved permission-based model where the user will be in full control of services apps are using while the system will monitor and discourage any app from using any service in the background without proper permission. It supports Live Caption that transcribes and shows subtitles of any video supported app such as YouTube with any hassle.
The Android 10 will also bring 5G network support to the table which means it will form a foundation for 5G smartphones to come while support to foldable displays will add an another USP to the OS. It will have a revamped navigation gesture control, face ID authentication for logins, and more.
Ulefone smartphones will also get Android 10 based on their eligibility. Although the phone maker hasn’t officially declared a list of smartphones that will run Android 10, we took the pain to render a list of all Ulefone smartphones and arranged them in the category of high likely and likely to get the update while a separate list of those phones that won’t feature any further updates whatsoever. Let’s dig into the list and find your phone or go through the entire list of Android 10 Supported Ulefone Devices.

Android 10 Features
Digital Wellbeing: Everything from taking insights on what websites you visit and how much time you spend on the phone, Digital Wellbeing with Android 10 allows users to set up time limits even for individual websites. It helps curb the phone addiction with numbers and has plenty of functionalities including Focus Mode and site timers, etc.
Dark Theme: Apart from the usual brightly lit theme, Android 10 comes with a Dark Theme which isn’t something of rocket science to understand. It paints the UI dark and relieves stress that brightly lit displays put on the batteries as well as human eyes.
Gesture-based Navigation: Available as an option around other navigation systems, this particular gesture-based setup uses gestures to do things such as go back, swipe across the left or right edge while to proceed to the home screen, pull the slider on the bottom a bit or pull it straight up to the center of the display vertically to check out app overviews.
Google Play Store System Updates: Unlike previous Android OSes, Android 10 brings a new feature towards updating the smartphones running it. Starting with a few bug fixes and monthly security updates, Google will push these updates via Google Play Store instead of OTA which means you can get the updates faster and download it as you would update an app.
Sound Amplifier: Don’t worry if you are in a crowded place such as on a train or at the station because Android 10 has your back. This feature amplifies the sound and reduces the external noise that could disrupt the listening experience. It also comes with Sound Visualizer in case if you want to tweak the frequencies to get the most of it.
Live Caption: The features transcribes everything from videos to audio files to podcasts to your recordings on your phone at real-time. This is a great feature for those who are lost in the language barrier or those who can’t hear but can read.

Why my smartphones are not eligible for an update?
To be honest, Android from Google actually supports every smartphone or at least those with decent specifications are up for two years of Android major updates and almost three years of security updates.
But not that only Pixel and Essential Phones get the Google Android updates right away in its stock mode while many OEMs customize the OS to fit their smartphones. When Google makes its update available for OEMs, it is basically OEM’s task to customize and introduce it via OTA and depending upon the specifications and eligibility of the display, OEMs roll out updates accordingly and note that this might take months to reach even if you have an eligible device.
But if either the phone has actually received two major Android updates or has ceased to get the update within the specified two year support period, your device will be ineligible to get an update. On the other hand, every new Android OS comes with slightly higher requirements which means if your phone is not prepared to support the next OS update, it will be ineligible as well. There are a number of factors that can weigh in when it comes to eligibility such as the specifications of the phone, price range, country (region), etc.
In case your phone is listed in the ‘not eligibility’ section, there are a number of options you can try out such as by installing a custom ROM such as Resurrect OS or LineageOS. You can also upgrade to a newer device from Ulefone to get a renewed Android major update support.
