Moreover, when the user comes back to the main menu, the animation plays back in reverse.

Multi-camera Support API

With the new Android Pie 9.0, you can enjoy a multi-camera support. With it means is that you can use two or more physical cameras either front camera assembly or front and rear cameras together. It has its own applications such as it provides seamless zoom and enhance videos and images.

 Take Screenshot of Power Button:

Well, the easiest way to remember something or take a notorious image of your friend’s conversation or any other thing, screenshot made it extremely easy. Once taken, it automatically saves itself in the gallery that can be viewed later unless you delete it. Generally, you need to press two buttons that can be a combination of Power button, home button volume rockers which can be different for devices belonging to different manufacturer and OS. But with Android Pie, this simple procedure has been simplified further. Now, just tap on the Power button and select the option of Screenshot from the dialog box and done. What’s more? You can edit the screenshot by saving it in the photo gallery which is an add-on feature lacking in previous OSes.

No Unauthorized access to Mic & Camera

Another privacy oriented feature included in the upcoming Android version is that it doesn’t allow any apps that might capture sound and video using mic and camera respectively to spy on the user. This is a breach of security and a prioritized concern that needs immediate action. And believe it or not, there are apps that can grab such information from the user without his permission and information. But not anymore since the Android Pie is equipped with features that won’t allow such apps to access mic and camera without user’s consent.

Alerts when the call is being recorded

In days when privacy is of paramount priority, someone recording your calls can land you in trouble. Call recording apps work in the background and record calls without the recipient knowing about it. But if you are using Android Pie 9.0, it has a surprise for you. It has a built-in feature that alerts the user whenever the calls at the other side are being recorded. This can help you wade off from troubles that are waiting for you. Also, this increases the privacy of the users exercised by the OS itself.

New Notification Panel

Google has completely revamped the Notification Panel which is the most used feature of any smartphone. Now, you can enjoy a cool and subtle looking notification panel which has been improved for both its features and appearances as the GUI and UI is totally different from previous iterations. Moreover, it is equipped with Smart Replies feature. That scans your messages in the notification tray and predicts a suitable reply that can help you do things faster than earlier.

Lock on Landscape Mode

Android smartphones can either use their phones in portrait mode or landscape mode, however, there are only a few apps and features that work in landscape mode. Even if you try locking the orientation at the landscape mode, it will retreat back to portrait mode the moment you toggle the auto-rotation button on the notification panel, but with the new upgrade, you can set the landscape mode as the default for each and every app and features on your Xiaomi smartphones.
