Difficulty guide for Outriders

Difficulty in Outriders depends on the World Tier you’re playing in. This means that the World Tier you’re playing in will influence the difficulty by affecting your health, armor, damage of enemies, and the quality of loot that you can get from drops. If you’re wondering how World Tier works, you’ll get access to a specific World Tier depending on how well you play. These are calculated by your performance in quests and mission so the better you play, the more you’ll get World Tier experience to unlock the next World Tiers.

If you’ve progressed through the World Tiers and wish to play on a lower World Tier, then you can simply choose a lower tier from the menu. However, you can’t really do this if you want to play on higher World Tiers that aren’t unlocked yet as they need more World Tier Experience. Also, one thing to note is that you’ll lose World Tier experience every time you die.

Loot drops and World Tier

The loot drops you get in World Tier are higher than your character level. This is pretty much an interesting fact that falls to our advantage. However, there’s a caveat. Although you do get loot drops from a World Tier, you can only use them in that World Tier and not on a lower Tier. In this case, climbing World Tiers in Outriders will give you increased loot drops every time.

Player count and difficulty

The difficulty level in Outriders is also influenced by the player count. If you’ve played both solo and with buddies, you might’ve already noticed the difference. Playing solo in Outriders actually possesses a lower level of difficulty. This offers solo players the ability to progress. On the other hand, playing with buddies will make the entire thing a whole lot difficult. However, it should all balance out but if one of your buddies fails to pay attention, it’s gonna put a heavier weight upon you as opposed to playing solo.

The bottom line is that playing solo in Outriders will give you the chance to progress in the game. In order to ensure that you keep progressing, playing solo, and taking advantage of the loot drops in the game will pretty much ease up the game for you.
