Xiaomi is the new hero of the competitive smartphone market. Came as yet another Chinese manufacturer a few years back, Xiaomi had done something no other Chinese smartphone manufacturer have done yet. Stepping into the market ruled by giants, Xiaomi has gained a lot of recognition and have grown as an important competition for all other brands. They have even topped the market by defeating Samsung in the Indian market last year. And as 2018 starts Xiaomi fans are waiting with a lot of expectations, and Xiaomi started the year with the unveiling of Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is truly a Kickstarter idea from Xiaomi. The device comes with a 5.99-inch display with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The device is powered by the Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 processor. There are two variants with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM, both the variants come with a ROM of 64 GB. While the external memory can be expanded up to 256 GB. Out of the box Android 7.1.2 Nougat is provided. A 12 MP and 5 MP sensors at the rear and a 20 MP sensor at the front is added.  Battery with 4000 mAh capacity is also added.

Steps to perform a Hard reset on Redmi Note 5 Pro

Hard rest is considered to be the most simple steps to clear a lot of firmware issues on your device. When you perform a hard reset your device will be taken back into the default condition. But the thing to be noted is that hard reset will clear all the data from your device. So it is recommended that you take a complete backup before performing a hard reset. There are two methods to perform a hard reset on Redmi Note 5 Pro, both are listed below.

Method 1:

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press and hold power button and volume up button
  3. Use volume buttons to highlight wipe & reset and use power button to select
  4. Choose, wipe all data
  5. Select yes option when prompted

Method 2:

  1. Open settings
  2. Scroll down and tap on back & reset
  3. Tap on factory data reset
  4. Now tap on Reset phone
  5. Tap on erase everything
