    1. Hello Ian,
You are not alone. I ran into the issue of a lot of noise in the audio in video recordings. I have tested in a quiet space and it is just horrific. I have not gone through a factory reset yet.

  2. Hello,

I have a problem with the mic on the Pixel 7 Pro. I tried several settings I saw online, but so far nothing works. Need help to resolve. All my previous phones were Android but I never had this issue.

  3. I have same problem with new pixel 7 the mic is not working with any app (google assistant, Instagram, Whatsapp…etc). Only normal calls.

    1. I have the same problem. Microphone not working with WhatsApp, but does with normal calls. Tried everything except a factory reset and nothing working. Pixel 7

  4. My pixel 7 pro is two days old and I started getting this same problem: the mike does not work in any apps, for instance keep notes and messages and google assistant (all three worked yesterday), but it does work on a live phone call. I went through many of the troubleshooting steps online even though I thought the chances are slim. One of them was to take a can of compressed air and blow out the microphone, I did that and voila! the mic is now working.

I realize this does not seem logical since voice calls worked OK. But it’s working now. Maybe just a coincidence? Good luck to all.

  5. My pixel 7a has the same issues, if I make a call they can hear me but I can’t hear them very well as it goes in and out and I can’t understand what they are saying, it’s my first Google phone and it will be my last… brand new, not even a day old.
