1. To restart your device.

If your Samsung Galaxy device is not switched off, it’s very simple to wake up your phone using the physical home button or a double tap to wake up your device when the power button is not working. But when your device is not having both the aforesaid features, you need to simply connect your device to a charger or a PC with USB cable, or can even ask a friend to call you. All these will help you to wake up your device to let use it again.

2. Turn on your Samsung Galaxy device without a power button.

  • If your phone is switched off,  you should try pressing and holding the volume down button along with the Home button.

You can turn off your device without a power button using third-party apps such as “Button Savior”, Power Button to Volume Button, Gravity Screen, Proximity Actions etc. You can install all these apps from the Google Play Store.

When you open the app, you should select the “Kill/Start Button Savior Service. Then tap and hold the Power Button on the bottom part of the icon list. Select the Power Off option on the device option list.

Gravity Screen

With this app, the device screen gets automatically off when we put the device in our Pocket or a table and when we take up, it immediately gets wake up.

Just with a simple hand wave over the proximity sensor, you can lock and unlock the device using the Proximity Actions App.

4. Permanently fix the broken power button.
