5. Set Location Accuracy
If your device is running well with GPS but somehow the accuracy isn’t that consistent for all the time, then make sure to set the location accuracy from the device location settings menu by following the steps below. To do so:
- Go to the Settings menu on the handset > Tap on Location.
- Head over to the Improve Accuracy section.
- Now, make sure to turn on the Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning toggle.
- Finally, you should check whether the location accuracy is working fine or not.
6. Calibrate Gyroscope Sensor
It seems that the gyroscope sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series device is using the angular rotational velocity and acceleration across X, Y, and Z-axis. Though the accelerometer sensor uses to track the device’s rotation or twist, sometimes the device’s GPS may not work properly. - Now, use the Volume keys again to highlight YES > Press the Power key to select/confirm it.
- Your device will start deleting the cache partition data. So, wait for the process to complete.
- Finally, restart the device into the system, and check for the issue again.
If none of the methods did fix the GPS not working or not an accurate issue on your Samsung Galaxy S22 series models then make sure to just perform a factory reset to wipe out all the data completely. Sometimes a stubborn system glitch or any configuration issue may cause GPS connectivity conflicts.
Note: Make sure to take a full data backup of the device because the factory reset method will delete all the data such as call logs, messages, internal storage files, etc.
- Just press and hold the Power key for a while to bring the power menu > Tap on Power off.
