But in case the error shows up on your old SIM card, then you are required to consider the following methods.

Method 1: Restart your smartphone

Sometimes the SIM card does not get read properly, and you might need to restart your smartphone to get the SIM card working.

Method 2: Clean SIM card and re-insert
