Check for OTA Updates Manually
In order to update your Xperia handset, go to the Settings menu > About phone > Software update. Then follow the on-screen instructions if any update is available. You can also update it with a computer using the Xperia Companion tool.
Make sure that your device should be connected to a working Wi-Fi network and charge up to 60% at least for a smoother process. The firmware OTA update is rolling out via batches in some regions and will take some time to receive on all Xperia 10 III variants globally.

The Sony Xperia 10 III features a 6.0-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. This is a standard refresh rate panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 built on an 8nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor with two Kryo 560 Gold cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Kryo 560 Silver cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. For handling the graphics-intensive tasks, we have the Adreno 619.
Coming to the optics, we have a triple-camera setup at the rear and a single camera at the front. The quad-camera consists of a 12MP primary sensor paired with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP telephoto sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens. Moving to the front, we an 8MP sensor paired with an f/2.0 lens. The rear setup can capture 4K videos at up to 30fps, while the front is limited to 1080p video recording.
The Sony Xperia 10 III comes with Android 11 out of the box. It comes in one storage option with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a hybrid SIM slot for storage expansion. In terms of communications, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.1. And for sensors, we get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. Powering all of it is a 4500 mAh battery that can be charged up using a 30W fast charging adapter. We also have support for USB Power Delivery. The smartphone is available in four color options: Black, White, Blue, and Pink.
