iQOO Z5 5G Device Overview:
The Vivo iQOO Z5 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is an FHD+ panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It supports HDR10 content on this screen. Under the hood, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G built on a 6nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor with four Kryo 670 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four Kryo 670 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. For handling the graphics-intensive tasks, we have the Adreno 642L.
In terms of optics, we get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single camera at the front. The triple camera consists of a 64MP primary sensor paired with an f1.97 lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, we get a single 16MP selfie sensor paired with an f/2.5 lens. The rear camera setup can capture 4K videos at 60 fps, while the front camera is limited to 1080p video recording.
The smartphone comes with Android 11 out of the box with Functouch 12 OS skin on top. There are three storage variants of this smartphone: 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. For connectivity, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. And for sensors, we have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Powering it all is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The company claims that it can go from 0 to 50% in 26 min. The smartphone is available in three color options: Arctic Dawn, Mystic Space, and Aurora.
