The company is seen continuously updating its mid-range lineup devices and back in 2020, it released two smartphones, the Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i in quick successions.

Notably, there is not much difference between both the devices but they have been released slightly a month apart. Vivo Y20 and Y20i – Device Overview

The Vivo Y20 and Y20i smartphones come powered by the Snapdragon 460 processor. While the Vivo Y20 comes with 4GB of RAM and the Vivo Y20i comes with 3GB of RAM. Under the hood, both phones come with a 5,000 mAh battery capacity. The display on the device comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display which is a 720p screen. Both phone offers 64GB of onboard storage and also has a dedicated microSD card slot.

Talking about the cameras, the duo comes with a triple-camera setup with a 13MP primary lens, 2MP depth lens, and 2MP macro lens. The Vivo Y20 and Y20i are capable of recording videos at 1080p@30fps. For selfies, there is an 8MP lens that also captures 1080p videos. Both phones have all the important sensors. The fingerprint scanner is pasted on the side of the device and supports 15W Fast Charging.

How To Update Vivo Phone?

The updates are rolled over via OTA in batches. So, that means that updates will be pushed gradually. Not all the updates will be available for all the devices at once. However, you can head over to the below points in order to update your Vivo Y20 and Y20i smartphone.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to System Updates.
   
3. If there is a new update available, then you can grab the update.
4. Moreover, you can download the update package file from the above section and place it in your internal storage and trigger the update manually.
