Method 1: Turn on The Windows Audio Service

1. First of all, open the Run utility box and search for services.msc.
2. Then, locate and double click on the Windows Audio service. This will open the properties window.
3. Now, from the list, you need to select the Automatic option located in the drop-down menu of the Startup type section.
4. Then, hit the Start button located under the Service status.

Now, in case the Start button is still grey out. Then continue following the steps we have mentioned further:

• Now, switch to the Log On tab and click on the Local System account.
• After that, shift to the Recovery tab and Restart the Service located in front of the First failure, Second failure, and Subsequent failures and hit the Ok button.
• Now, simply hover back to the General tab and click on the Start button. 

Method 2: Update BIOS

It is possible that your PC is running on an outdated BIOS. Therefore, in case it’s been now an eternity since you have updated your BIOS, then you can check and, if available, update it. Meanwhile, in case you don’t familiar with how to do this, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. First of all, you have to check out the BIOS version of your device. To do so, simply use the Windows search bar and search for System Info. 
2. Then, open your browser, navigate to your system manufacturer website, and check if any BIOS update is available. Then, compare it with the version that you have. 
3. After that, download it and install it manually on your PC.

Method 3: Check The Hardware
