The LG Stylo 5+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of onboard storage. The display on the phone is a 6.2″ FHD+ TFT Display, 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and currently sits with Android 10 LG UX 9.0. There is a single 16MP camera at the back and it records 1080p@30fps while there is an 8MP sensor for selfies that is capable of recording 1080p videos.

Talk about camera features, it has Portrait mode (front-facing camera only), food mode (rear-facing camera only), panorama, flash jump-cut, guide shot, grid shot, snapshot, beauty shot, auto shot, gesture shot, burst shot, timer, smart rear key, AE/AF lock, quick editor. Under the hood, the phone is juiced by a 3500 mAh battery and there is a fingerprint scanner as well.

    • Pop-up window: Apps can be scaled to a different size. In the Overview screen, tap an app icon to show options from which you can select Pop-up window.
    • Night mode: Changes the LG app screens to a dark theme. You can view the screens even in the dark without glare.

    Gestures

    • Navigation bar: The option of navigating the phone with gestures only is added.
    • One-handed screen: Lower the screen for use in one hand by swiping in from the left/right edge of the screen and holding.

    Camera

    • Modes: Auto mode has been separated into Photo and Video modes. In Video mode, you can see a preview of the scene before recording.
    • Switch camera button: The button has been moved from the top of the screen to the bottom to make it within a thumb’s reach on one hand.
    • Zoom wheel: Drag the angle icon to interactively control angle and zoom with one hand.

    Calling & Messaging

    • Call-ended screens: Buttons have been rearranged.
    • Voice call: You can make a video call to the same number when the voice call ends.
    • Attach in Messaging: Attachments preview show files horizontally.
    • Share via Messaging: When you share a file via Messaging from other apps such as Gallery, you can select an existing conversation to share instead of having to enter the recipient every time.

    LG Keyboard

    • Draw chat: Draw and send a quick animated message. This can be used in any communication apps that can attach a GIF file.

    Settings

    • Settings: First-depth menus change. “Privacy” and “Digital Wellbeing & parental controls” have been added, and “Location” moved up to the 1st depth from under “Lock screen & Security.”
    • Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth® settings: Step-by-step tutorial has been removed as the technologies are now familiar.
    • Quick settings: File sharing, which was located on the bottom of the panel, has been changed to a usual Quick setting icon.
    • Volume panel: You can adjust the media volume on an app-by-app basis.

How To Update AT&T LG Stylo 5+?

Ideally, the updates are pushed via OTA in batches. Meaning that it will take some time before hitting all the units and covering all the regions. However, if you wish to manually update your AT&T LG Stylo 5+ and experience all the new features, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Head to Settings.
  2. Then go to System>>About Phone.
  3. Select Software Update>> Update Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts in order to grab the latest update.
  5. Once the update is downloaded, your phone will automatically restart.
