As with other devices, the Corsair PSUs can also be fixed with a bit of tweaking. And here, in this article, we will look into it. We will see what you can do from your end to fix this issue with your Corsair PSU. So without any further ado, let’s get into it.

Disconnect other peripherals:

Firstly, you need to disconnect all the peripherals connected to your computer, except for the mouse and keyboard. If you have any dongle, USB stick, or hard drive connected to your PC, disconnect them immediately. Some devices can cause the Corsair PSU to act up abnormally.

Try the next solution if removing other peripherals does not solve your problem.

Check the external switch on the PSU:

Many PSUs have an external switch located near the rear of the unit. So by some fault, that switch might be turned off on your unit. So give it a thorough check and see if that is the case for you.

If there is no such switch, or it is turned on, but it is still not working, move on to the next solution.

Check whether the light turns on:

Most PSUs have an LED light on the back that lights up when power is directly supplied to them. So, connect it to a power socket and then turn on your PC. Try a different cable or power socket if the light does not turn on.

If the light turns on, but the PC is still not starting, move on to the next solution.

Check connections:

All the internal connections of cable between your PSU and motherboard need to be correctly fitted and fixed. If even one of those cables is torn or loose, the PSU won’t work with the PC. And in that case, you will get a PC that won’t turn on, no matter how much you try to turn it on. SO ensure every connection is secure and fixed.

Check for any motherboard light:

You can also open up your PC case and look at your motherboard when the PSU is connected to it as a final check. If you see flashing lights on it, that is a sign of a faulty power supply. In that case, the only option in your hand is to repair the Corsair PSU. You can take it to a service center near your place to fix it or even replace it entirely. After the repair or replacement, you should not face any more issues.
