Back in September 2019, the brand launched its new 5G version of Samsung Galaxy A90. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G sports a 6.70-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. This display comes with a screen to body ratio of 86.1 %, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a pixel density of 393 PPI.  Further, this also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and gets protection by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Underneath, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC which is built on the 7nm process and with Adreno 640.

This chipset is an Octa-core processor with a single Kryo 485 core which clocks at 2.84 GHz and a triple Kryo 485 core clocked at 2.42 GHz and finally, a Quad-core Kryo 485 core clocked at 1.8 GHz. The device comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. This internal storage is also further expandable via a micro SD card up to 512GB.

Coming to the optics department, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G sports a triple rear camera setup. This triple rear camera setup includes a 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture value. Further, it comes with a secondary 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture value and finally a tertiary 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture value. This rear camera can do videos up to 2160p @ 30fps, 1080p@30/ 60fps which supports gyro-EIS, and can also do slow-motion videos at 720p @ 960fps. To the front, the Galaxy A90 5G sports a 32P sensor with an f/2.0 aperture value and this can be used for taking selfies and video calls. This front camera can also do up to 1080 @ 30 fps and can shoot HDR photos.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G packs a 4500mAh battery which charges over a type c port. This battery also comes with support for Samsung’s proprietary fast charging which is 25W fast charging. The device runs on One UI which is based on the Android 9 Pie. Samsung will also soon roll out One UI 2.0 which is based on Android 10. Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C.

The sensors on this phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, magnetometer, gyroscope, and finally a proximity sensor. Coming to the security options, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has also support for face unlock along with the in-display fingerprint scanner. Further, coming to the dimensions, the device measures around 164.80 x 76.40 x 8.40mm i.e. height x width x thickness and weighs about 206 grams. The device will be available in two color options i.e. namely the Black and White colors.
