How to Fix Element TV Not Showing Picture But Sound Working?

The solutions mentioned here are specifically for cases where the device shows a blinking LED when turned on. The TV is getting the power supply, and it is turning on. But the picture is not coming through on the screen for some reason.

To fix this, you should try all the solutions mentioned here, one after the other, until you find the one that fixes your problem.

Power socket issues:

Usually, in these situations, we conclude that the problem is with our TV. But before getting into the TV, check whether the power socket for your connection is in optimal condition. In rare cases, TVs can malfunction due to a lack of required voltage through the power sockets.

So try using the power socket with other appliances and check whether they work well. If they do work well, move on to the next solution. And if they don’t, you need to call an electrician to get it looked at.

Along with the power socket, also give the power cable of your TV a thorough inspection. If there is any tear in the line or it is damaged somehow, that could also cause the picture not to show up on your TV.

If everything seems good to you, but the TV is still not showing up anything on the screen, move on to the next solution.

Reset your TV:

Resetting the TV is nothing other than power cycling the setup. If the problem is due to any possible software consistencies, this should be handled with the power reset.

Turn off your TV and disconnect the cable connected to the power port.
Wait for a couple of minutes.
Plug the cable back into the power source and try using your TV again.
It would be best to keep other cables disconnected from your TV when you remove the power source.

If this does not help you, move on to the following solution.

Change your HDMI/input cable:

Every bit of information fed to the TV through the input cables is what it displays to the end user. Since most of us use set-top boxes or similar devices for content streaming, we must ensure that the line connecting the external device and the TV is not damaged. You should thoroughly check the wires for any visible physical damage and try using a different line from the one you have used.

You could go to your nearest electrical store to purchase replacement cables and check whether that helps.

If none of this solves your no-picture problem, move on to the following solution.

T-Con cable and main board failure:

Check the back of your TV. If you see lights on the back end side of the TV but you do not see anything at the front, the chances are that the problem is with the T-Con cable or the main board.

So get the replacement part for your TV’s model from any authorized store and bring it to someone with the technical expertise to open and replace these parts of your TV.

Backlight failure:

Get a flashlight close to your TV screen and carefully notice whether you see anything on your screen. If you notice the content you should see appropriately under normal conditions, the problem is with the LEDs.

It would be best to take your TV to a repair expert and inform them about your issue with the LEDs of the TV not working. They should be able to replace the faulty parts for you.

Contact support:

You should contact Element Electronics customer support if none of the above solutions work. If you reside in a region that offers technical support, they will send a technician to solve your problem. And if you are not from such a region, you would have to take the TV to your nearest Elemetn Electronics service center and get it fixed.
