In such a situation, you should either unhide your Wi-Fi network or else connect the Fire TV Stick to the hidden Wi-Fi network. For connecting to the hidden Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the settings menu of your Fire TV Stick

Step 2: Select Network.

Step 3: Scroll down to where you find ‘Join Other Network.’ Click on it

Step 4: Then, you need to enter the SSID (read: name) of the Wi-Fi network. Then proceed by clicking on the Play/Pause button.

Step 5: Select the network’s security type and again proceed by clicking on the Play/Pause button.

Step 6: Now enter the password of your network and proceed by clicking on the Play/Pause button.

Step 7: Finally, confirm the details you have provided of the network and tap CONNECT (Play/Pause button on the remote). This way, you can connect your Fire TV Stick to the hidden Wi-Fi network.

Fix 3: Reboot Router

In case there is no issue with the Router connection or the network visibility, and the Fire TV Stick is still not connecting, then you should go for the rebooting option. You simply have to reboot your router and then connect the Fire TV Stick again to the router. This way, you can fix problems that are internal to the system.

Rebooting the Fire TV Stick can be done by following these steps:

Using Remote Shortcut

You need to tap and hold the play/pause button, and the Select button on the remote control of your Fire TV Stick remote, together for a few seconds. This will generate a message saying ‘Your Amazon Fire TV is Powering Off’ and would automatically reboot the Fire TV Stick.

From Settings Menu

Step 1: Go to the Fire TV stick Settings menu.

Step 2: Select ‘My Fire TV’.

Step 3: Now select Restart

Step 4: To confirm, select the Restart option.

This will power off the Fire TV Stick, and it would restart immediately.
