This guide is made assuming that the sound issue is from ELEX 2 game only. If you are facing sound issues from your PC (i.e, all the apps sound not working), then we recommend you follow the basic troubleshooting steps.

Check the basics

It is also possible that you mistakenly have pressed the mute button, and now the game is on mute. Please check the Windows Sound Settings, choose the correct output device (if you have more than one), or use the Troubleshoot button to let the system find a solution for you.

The sound mixer on your PC shows all the sources and applications from which the sound is currently coming. Sometimes we mistakenly mute the sound coming from the game. With the volume mixer panel, you can fix the volume for the particular game or app.

Right-click on the sound icon present at the bottom right of your taskbar and click on the Open Volume Mixer option.

Find ELEX 2 check the volume level settings. If it is mute, kindly unmute it.

Tweak audio device properties

Select Search automatically for the updated driver software. Windows will automatically search for the best drivers for you. Wait for the process to finish. Once it does, the random sounds issue from the ELEX 2 game should have been fixed.
