  2. Once booted to TWRP, wipe the required partitions and then flash the ROM of your choice.
  3. Now don’t install the GApps package as of now. Just head over to Reboot and tap on System.
  4. Skip the setup wizard as of now. Head over to Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.

  5. Now go to Settings > System > Developer Options and scroll to the WebView Implementation option.
  6. Select Android System WebView (or Google System WebView) and this should help you fix the Google Play Services error.

  8. Now install it as you do for any other application. Make sure to enable Installation from Unknown Sources.
  9. Once you have installed the app, head over to WebView Implementation, and this time you would be able to select the Android System WebView.
  10. Next boot, boot your device back to TWRP. Go to the Install option, select the GApps ZIP file, and perform a right swipe to flash it.
