Now, if you really can’t find out any system restore point that means even the system protection is turned on, you haven’t created any system restore point for the drive before. Therefore, in that scenario, you won’t be able to recover your PC using the system restore point. 3. Run Windows Check Disk (CHKDSK)

- Select Run as administrator.

Ensure that it takes hours to complete a single pass and may take more time for twice, depending on the amount of RAM installed on the system.
- Visit the MemTest86 official website > Click on the Download button on the very first screen.
- The MemTest86 USB zip file will be downloaded instantly on the computer.
- Connect the USB flash drive on your computer.
- Extract the zip file by using WinRAR or 7-zip.
- Now, double-click on the imageUSB (exe) application to open up the Create and Write an image of a USB drive interface.
- Next, the connected USB flash drive will appear in Step 1: Select the USB drive(s) to be processed.
- If not, then click on Refresh Drives and click on Yes to see the USB flash drive.
- Click on Write image to USB drive from the Step 2: Select the action to be performed on the selected USB drive(s).
