Why the Ghost Watchers game is Crashing?

Coming to the possible reasons behind the crashing issue, it seems that either there may be a hardware or software conflict that’s troubling you a lot. Well, PC compatibility issue with the game’s system requirement is one of the major reasons behind crashes, lags, graphical glitches, FPS drops, etc. Mostly an outdated game version, corrupted or missing game files, an outdated game launcher, outdated or missing graphics driver, etc can be a reason.

Whereas an outdated DirectX version, unnecessary background running tasks, issues with the antivirus or Windows Firewall blocking, startup app issues, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables issues, overclocked CPU/GPU, overlay app issues, and more might also one of the reasons to trigger crashes.

Sometimes an outdated PC build or a lower-end PC build can cause such issues. So, in that case, you can try upgrading the PC specification accordingly.

If your PC configuration is already compatible or on the higher side then you can skip to the next method. Here we’ve shared both the minimum and recommended system requirements for you.

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel i5 or AMD equivalent (AMD FX 8500+ Series)
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: 2 GB Video RAM
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

Recommended Requirements:

Once done, you can also do the same steps for your Steam launcher. So, you’re giving the same UAC access to the game launcher too.

4. Update Graphics Drivers

You should try checking for the graphics driver update on your Windows PC and installing the latest version to ensure no update is pending at your end. An outdated or missing graphics driver can trigger issues with properly functioning graphics-intensive programs. To do that:

  • Right-click on the Start Menu to open up the Quick Access Menu.
  • Click on Device Manager from the list to open the interface.
  • Now, you’ll need to double-click on Display adapters to expand it.
