The chances are high that outdated graphics drivers, incompatible system requirements, corrupted game files, background running processes, lack of enough system resources, firewall or antivirus blocking, and more can be one of the possible reasons behind such an issue. 1. Restart the PC

As one of the first steps, you can try restarting the desktop or laptop to ensure there is no issue with the temporary system glitch or cache data. Sometimes a normal restart of the system can resolve multiple issues with the system’s performance. As rebooting the PC doesn’t take too much time, you can try it out.

2. Check the System Requirements

The second thing you can also try is checking out the system requirements of the LEGO Fortnite game. If your PC specification doesn’t meet the requirements then do the necessary upgrades to be able to play the game easily.

  • Right-click on the LEGOFortnite.exe application on your PC.

5. Update LEGO Fortnite

  • Open the Epic Games Launcher > Head over to Library.

11. Temporarily Disable Antivirus

12. Turn Off Windows Firewall

You should temporarily turn off Windows Firewall by following the steps below.

  • Click on the Start Menu > Type and search firewall.
  • Open Windows Defender Firewall from the search result.
  • Now, click Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off from the left pane.

  • Select the Turn Off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended) option.
    • Turn Off for all network settings.

13. Repair Easy Anti-Cheat

You should try repairing the EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) system on your PC because a corrupted or missing EAC application file can prevent the game files from running properly. To do so:

  • Open the Steam client > Go to Library.
  • Right-click on LEGO Fortnite.
  • Click on the Local Files tab.
  • Select EasyAntiCheat > Right-click on the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe file.
  • Click on Run as administrator > Hit Yes to confirm the UAC permission.
  • Next, click on Repair > Wait for the process to complete.
  • Once done, restart your PC to check for the issue.

14. Clean Reinstall of LEGO Fortnite

If none of the workarounds didn’t come in handy then make sure to perform a clean reinstallation of the LEGO Fortnite game on the PC by following the steps below. Any kind of temporary glitches or game installation issues might trigger several conflicts with the game startup. Just delete the existing game files and data then install the game again freshly.

  • Make sure to Uninstall Lego Fortnite from the Epic Games Launcher.
  • Now, Delete the following files/folders manually:
