Fix: Logitech G335 Headset Not Working or Not Recognized

Fix 1: Check the Current Volume Level

The first thing you need to check is that the speaker is not muted or the volume is not set to too low. For now, let’s set the volume to the full and check if the headset is still not working. To change the speaker volume, click on the volume icon at the bottom-right side and take the volume slider to its extreme right.

You also need to make sure that the speaker is not muted. Tap on the volume icon located on the bottom-right side (just like we did a moment ago). Now, if there’s a cross symbol next to the volume icon, it means that the speakers are muted otherwise the speakers are unmuted. If muted, tap on the volume icon to unmute them.

Fix 2: Install the Latest Audio Drivers

An outdated audio driver for your Logitech headset can cause many problems. It can lead to a pairing-related issue or the headset might not be recognized by your PC. Therefore, it is essential to keep the drivers (not just the audio drivers) up-to-date to avoid any drivers related problems.

Here’s how to update audio drivers on your PC:

1. Open Device Manager on your computer.

Fix 5: Use the Headset With Another Device

In the above solutions, we tried to fix things on the software level. So, even after applying all fixes, the problem is still there, it’s likely a hardware fault. Either the headphone jack on your PC is defective or the headset is having an issue. All you need to simply use the headset with another device.
