Methods to Fix macOS Ventura Black Screen issue

1. Check for power supply
Lack of power can mess up your upgrade. If you are using a Mac that is not plugged into it and its power cable is not plugged in properly, it won’t boot. MacBooks, on the other hand, run on battery power. However, upgrades are very often draining, and it is quite possible that not plugging in your device for charging during the upgrade has caused all the trouble. So, let it charge for around an hour before attempting to boot it again.
2. Check display issues
Are you using an external display on your Mac? If yes, it may not be a failure of your Mac to reboot but simply an issue of your display not working properly. There could be a problem either with your Mac or your display.
To fix this macOS Ventura Black Screen issue, you should ensure that your display is connected to a power source and is switched on. Also, ensure that the cable is connected to your monitor and Mac. Then, you should check if the status light on your Mac is on. Yes? It is most likely a problem with your monitor. How to fix this? Well, you should try power cycling your display by replugging it after waiting for a few seconds. If this also doesn’t fix your issue, there could be some fault with the cable, and you can use a different cable to connect it to your Mac.
It’s getting so I’m afraid to update my MacBook Air. Every time I do it creates at least a few issues I have to worry over and try to fix. A real DRAG.
