OnePlus Nord N200 5G Software Update Tracker

OnePlus launched their new device called OnePlus Nord N200 5G which is one of the cheapest 5G powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. The device features a triple rear camera setup at the back with a 13MP main sensor and on the front, it has a 16 MP wide selfie camera.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G Device Overview

The Oneplus Nord N200 features 6.49 inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is a high refresh rate panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. We have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chip built on an 8nm manufacturing process in terms of processing power. It is an octa-core processor with two Kryo 460 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Kryo 460 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. For handling the graphics-intensive tasks, we have the Adreno 619.

Coming to the optics, we get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single camera at the front. The triple camera consists of a 13MP primary sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP macro sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. Coming to the front, we get a single 16MP sensor paired with an f/2.1 lens. Both the front and the rear camera setup can only shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

The Oneplus Nord N200 5G comes with Android 11 out of the box with OxygenOS 11 skin on top. The smartphone comes with a single storage variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. There is also a MicroSD slot for storage expansion.

In terms of communications, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C 2.0. And for sensors, we get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. There is a 5,000 mAh battery inside the Oneplus Nord N200 5G that supports 18W fast charging.

How To Check For Software Update on OnePlus Nord N200 5G

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on System Updates.
  3. Tap Check for updates.
  4. If a new update is available to tap on Download.

  1. I am just awaiting the android 12 update but seems no matter which brand of phone I get, it just gets later and later on major updates. Thought all the praise of everyone about OnePlus, but I think OnePlus is overrated because of slow major updates. Not everyone is made out of money to buy flagships all the time.
