The Reno 5 Pro features a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The display has a maximum peak brightness of 1100 nits making outdoor visibility really comfortable. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. As mentioned above, the processor inside this smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ built on a 7nm manufacturing process. This is an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.

We get a quad-camera setup on the rear and a single high megapixel camera on the front in terms of optics. On the rear side, we have a 64MP primary sensor paired with an f/1.7 lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP macro sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. Coming to the front, we get a single 32MP sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. The front camera is only limited to 1080p video recording, while the rear setup can record 4K videos.

The Reno 5 Pro comes with Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11.1 running on top. In terms of storage variants, we get two options. The base variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the higher variant features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of connectivity, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.1. For sensors, we get an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The battery inside the smartphone is a 4350 mAh cell with support for 65W fast charging. The smartphone is available in four colour options: Astral Blue, Starry Black, Starry Dream, and Star Wish Red.
