How to Check Software Update on Realme 6i

Make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network and charge the phone up to 50% at least. If a new software update is available, the system will automatically show a notification on the ‘System updates’ icon.

Otherwise, you can check the OTA update manually by going to the Settings menu on your device > tap on System updates. If the latest update is available, then download the firmware by following on-screen instructions. Once done, your device will reboot into a new system version.

The Realme 6i is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor coupled with 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The phone has storage options to choose between 64 and 128 GB along with a dedicated memory card slot to expand even more. It has a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for gaming. The phone is powered by a massive 5000 mAh non-removable battery, which can easily last a day or more. It comes with an 18w fast charging as well.

The phone is built on a plastic frame and has a plastic body. At the front, Realme 6i has a 6.5 inches of IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution having a pixel density of around 270 pixels per inches (PPI). The screen to body ratio is around 82%, with an aspect ratio of 20:9. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Realme 6i runs on Android 10 based on Realme UI, which is Realme’s own Android skin. The phone has DUAL SIM support as well.
