SnowRunner Not Enough Ram or Mod Memory Fix

After updating to Season 3, it looks like that the mod browser broke. Whereas unsubscribing and subscribing didn’t work and still the not enough ram error appears on the screen. Meanwhile, loading a new custom scene also doesn’t work for most SnowRunner players obviously due to insufficient memory. So, the chances are high that somehow the in-game mods are consuming too much RAM which is a bug.

As the SnowRunner game has an in-game mod browser that allows players to download and activate mods without visiting a third-party website. Therefore, affected players become unable to access their favourite mods in the SnowRunner game. This specific error prevents them from only having 2 mods activated and up to 3 mods installed at a time which might be a bit of a pain.

Click on the Run this program as an administrator checkbox to enable it.
Once done, click on Apply and then OK to save changes.
Finally, double-click on the game app file to launch it.

It’s also recommended to follow the same steps once again for Steam or Epic Games Launcher whatever you use to play the game.

3. Check for SnowRunner Updates

Another thing you can do is simply update the SnowRunner game by following the steps below to avoid an outdated game version. An outdated game patch version might trouble you a lot when it comes to game launching or server connectivity issues. It’s better to update the game manually to avoid an outdated version.

For Steam:

Open the Steam client > Go to Library.
Click on SnowRunner from the left pane.
It’ll automatically search for the available update.
If there is an update available, click on Update.
Wait some time to install the update.
Once done, close the Steam client.
Finally, reboot your PC to apply changes and launch the game again.

For Epic Games Launcher:

Open the Epic Games Launcher > Head over to Library.
Now, click on the three dots icon next to SnowRunner.
Make sure the Auto Update option is turned on.
Whenever the update is available, it’ll automatically install the update.

4. Verify and Repair the Game Files

You should also try verifying and repairing the installed game files on the respective gaming device to ensure there is no issue with the missing or corrupted game files. Just follow the steps below to perform the task.

For Steam:

If in case, there is an issue with the game files and somehow it gets corrupted or missing then make sure to perform this method to easily check for the issue.

Launch Steam > Click on Library.
Right-click on SnowRunner from the list of installed games.
Click on Properties > Go to the Local Files tab.

Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
You’ll have to wait for the process until it gets completed.
Once done, just restart your computer.

For Epic Games Launcher:

Open the Epic Games Launcher.
Click on SnowRunner in the library.
Click on the three dots next to the game.
Select the Manage option.
Now, click on the Verify option.
Then confirm the task and wait for it to be complete.
Once done, reboot the PC to apply changes.

5. Try Disabling and Enabling the Mods Back

You can try disabling the in-game mods and then enabling back again to ensure the problem has been fixed or not. Some of the affected players did find this trick helpful. To do so:

Launch the SnowRunner game on the PC or Console.
Then check at the bottom-right side of the game menu.
Now, press/click the button next to the More option.
Once you’re inside the menu, head over to the bottom of the list.
Then select Disable All and wait for a couple of minutes.
Next, enable the mods once again to check for the issue again.
