The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical survival horror game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Gun Interactive, set to release in 2023. Inspired by the 1974 movie of the same name, the game pits four victims against three members of the Sawyer family who are trying to capture and kill them. The objective for the victims is to escape from their pursuers. But somehow, plenty of unfortunate players are encountering the Texas Chain Saw Massacre crashing or not loading issue on the Xbox Series X/S consoles quite often.

Sometimes issues with the outdated game patch version, outdated system firmware, system glitches on the console, etc., may trouble you a lot.
1. Go Offline Status
Make sure to go offline and try playing or launching the game again. Although it may take a couple of minutes to complete the process, at least it’s worth trying once.
- Press the Xbox button on the controller.
- Head over to the profile section (last option on the right side) > Select Profile & system.
- Choose Settings > Select General.
- Select Network Settings of your Xbox console > Choose to Go offline.
- Once done, head to the game library and run the Texas Chain Saw Massacre game again.
My game still has not worked after all these steps.
It stops on the loading screen for infinite time. Only way is to quit game. All other games work. I’m on Xbox one S.
