#3 – TickTick
For those who are looking for an all-in-one task lister and manager, TickTick is the way to go. It is one of the better-looking and more responsive to-do list apps on the internet and is also highly cross-platform. I have been personally using TickTick on my Android device for ages and over the years the developers have only made it better. As a to-do list app, you can create several tasks, label them with different colors, set a priority level to have a clear view of all the things that you need to get done, and even add tags for you to find them quickly and painlessly. For those who are on a collaborative work plan, TickTick also offers a free way to create tasks and labels that you can keep shared between your friends or colleagues. There is a rich calendar sorting feature within the app that gives you a visually gorgeous depiction of all your tasks either daily, weekly, or monthly if you so choose to. There are also a number of widgets to choose from and add them to your home screen. I use the weekly task listing widget, and it allows me to get most of the actions done right then and there without me having to launch the app itself.
Overall, for the number of free features TickTick has, we don’t hope anyone has to feel the need to buy the premium subscription. You can select from a number of themes to make the app truly yours as well. You can grab the latest version of TickTick on your Android device by using the Google Play link below :

#4 – Forest
Up next is an application whose idea has been around for ages. Forest is sort of a time management app for those who can’t get enough of their phone addiction but want to improve their lifestyle for the better. While there are plenty of other apps that have been recently launching from bigger OEMs and developers (such as Digital Well Being by Google and Zen Mode by OnePlus), what makes Forest so great is the idea or principle it works on and implements. Basically, when you start off with the app for the very first time, you get a cute little tree that will progress to grow if you meet your goals and stay away from your phone for a given set of minutes per day. However, if you break the rules and try to cheat yourself, your plant will slowly start to die. With this sort of motivation, we feel no one would want a living and happy being to be perished just because of our bad habits. The app also sports a lot of info graphs and tabs that display how good your performance has been on a daily, weekly, or even a monthly basis. There are a lot of applications on the Google Play Store that aim at curing one’s phone addiction, but Forest is unparalleled.
Remember, the more you stay away from your phone, the more trees you’ll grow, and soon you’ll have your own little forest! You can try our Forest and see how it truly changes your lifestyle for the better in just a few days. #5 – ATracker
The next one on our list is also one of our favorites by far too. ATracker is a beautiful time managing and recording application. This app is primarily for those who like to keep tabs on what they’ve done throughout the day or the entirety of a week. Maybe you’re spending too much time watching TV or too little time on personal care, with this information on the tip of your fingers, you can easily bring a change in your life for good. The app itself allows its users to create several tasks and customize them as per their liking. You can note down what action or task you’ve accomplished in what time period. While it might seem like a cumbersome task to have to input everything you’ve done throughout the day on the app, you really start getting used to it thanks to its intuitive UI and ease of use. At the end of the day, week, or month, you can view all your tasks and accomplishments (including things you might regret spending a whole lot of time on) as pie charts or info graphs. You can connect to the cloud to save your progress and keep tabbing on yourself.
For being a free application, we feel ATracker is an all-around time management and task tracker app. It becomes one of the apps that you feel has changed your life a lot, and only for the better. #6 – ToDoist
Next up is another great way to manage all of your tasks for the day for the week, or even for the entire month. Just like TickTick, ToDoist is a great app that will fulfill your daily needs and help you get stuff done. While we felt that most users will be satisfied with either of these apps, having more than one option is always beneficial, isn’t that right? When it comes to the general user interface and design, ToDoist is an exceptionally planned out app, and you can definitely notice and feel the months and years’ worth of hard work that has gone into designing this piece of art. It has a sweet material design UI flowing throughout the app, with big vectors and buttons to complement the overall friendly interface. To add to that, ToDoist also has a whole bunch of themes that you can choose from. Although you only get access to a couple of them in the free plan, the dark theme is well appreciated which does come for free.
Talking about features, you can expect all that you would from a traditional task manager with ToDoist as well. You can add tasks, create labels, groups, and even tags. To better complement your tasks you can add tags to them individually, and even set a specific date and time for a more personalized experience. ToDoist also has a Karma system that rewards you for getting your things done on time. All of this keeps you well motivated throughout the day and will ensure that your productivity will have increased by ten folds. Overall, ToDoist is a great task manager that you can customize to your own accord and liking and get things done your way. If you have been looking for an app to tidy up your daily schedule, be it at work, in school, or even at home, then TimeTune is just the right app for you. It is essentially a timetable app that will allow you to create various kinds of schedules to fulfill different needs. I have personally been using this app for the past 4 years, and this has dramatically improved my productivity and has helped me stay well oriented towards my tasks and my goals. If you are a student and find it hard to manage your homework and studies due to all the classes, then using TimeTune to create a simple weekly overlay of your classes will help tremendously. On the other hand, as a fresher at work, you can use this app to fine-tune your daily schedule and ensure that you achieve all your goals every day effortlessly.

#8. Boosted
Ending the list, we have Boosted, which is a productivity and time tracking app that I myself have been using for a few years now. Unlike most other time tracking apps, Boosted keeps the interface extremely simple to use and understand. You can create different projects, and add specific tasks under each one of them. All it takes to begin time tracking is the tap of a button.
You can create several projects to track your activity for a wide range of things. At the end of the day, week, or month, you can also view your statistics and find out just how much time you spent on your projects and how you can improve your productivity going forward. The best part about using Boosted is the ad-free experience you get, even with the free version.
The premium version of the app unlocks more goodies such as a countdown and Pomodoro timer and labels to better sort out your projects and tasks. You can back everything up to your Google Drive account and not have to worry about losing your time tracking data when switching phones. The app has a light and a dark theme, both of which look really minimal.
