Will Xiaomi Redmi 7 series survive under water?

In order to sustain a smartphone underwater, it must be waterproof. A waterproof device always comes with an official IP67 or IP68 waterproof certification. These IP ratings are an international standard which is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of modern smartphones. These IP ratings are presented in the form of IP followed by two numbers.

While looking at the official specs list of both the devices, we can’t find any official IP rating for both the devices. However, despite that, these devices might be splashproof and dustproof. So we will conduct a waterproof test on both the devices to find out a clear result.
