All FiveM Error Codes and Their Fixes in 2024
Most of the mentioned errors are prone to crash either the base FiveM client or the GTA V application on the PC whenever players try to launch the GTA V game. So, you may either experience game launching errors or connectivity errors with FiveM dedicated servers. Now, let’s jump into the guide below without wasting any more time.
1. FiveM_b2372_GTAProcess.exe!
If we take a quick look at this error, it says, “An error at FiveM_b2372_GTAProcess.exe!sub_14090AB38 (0xf0) caused FiveM to stopped working. A crash report is being uploaded to the FiveM developers.” Now, multiple reports claim that FiveM_b2372_GTA used too much CPU and memory in the background before crashing. In some cases, antivirus software blocking can also be a reason. Sometimes, corrupted GTA V files, malware infection in the FiveM files, etc., cause such an error. To fix it:
Delete FiveM Cache Files:

- Go to Processes and check if FiveM tasks are running or not.
- If running, close them one by one. Just click on the task and select End Task.
- Once done, close Task Manager and reboot the system.
- Next, Delete the
%localappdata%/FiveM/FiveM Application Data/caches.xml
file from the installation directory. - Finally, try to relaunch the FiveM client.
- If the error persists, then try to Delete the
game-storage folder
too.
Remove Logs Files of FiveM:
- Open the
%localappdata%/FiveM/FiveM Application Data
the path from the FiveM installation directory. - Search for the
logs folder
and Delete all files inside the logs folder.

CitizenFX is a configuration file for the FiveM application that saves the directory and SavedBuildNumber of your GTA V game. You can try fixing the FiveM_b2372 error by tweaking the CitizenFX file manually. To do so:
- Open the
%localappdata%/FiveM/FiveM Application Data
the path from the FiveM installation directory. - Please search for the
CitizenFX
file and open it with Notepad. - Now, Delete the
SavedBuilderNumber
string from the file. - Once done, press the Ctrl+S keys to save changes.

- Once done, make sure to restart your PC to apply the changes.
If you can’t find any pending updates then just head over to the official website of the respective graphics card manufacturer below and search manually for the latest update. If a new version is available for the graphics card, just download the driver and install it on your PC. You can jump to the link below to do so:
Check for BIOS Updates:
If the above methods didn’t work then try checking for the BIOS update manually depending on your motherboard’s manufacturer. Having some issues with the BIOS patch version might cause conflicts. C:\Windows\system32
directory on the PC. - Delete all the following DLL files (if available):
v8.dll
v8_libbase.dll
v8_libplatform.dll
Please Note: These are the leftover or residual files from other applications that have been incorrectly using System32 to place these files. FiveM loads DLLs from System32 first which basically results in these incorrect DLLs being loaded mostly.
15. Moving of xyz.exe Failed (err = 32)
Sometimes the FiveM tasks run in the background after closing the client which might trigger several issues. You should close FiveM processes from the background and then check for the issue again.
