Warzone 2: How To Complete Double Cross – DMZ Mission Guide

Are you ready to take on one of the most challenging assignments in Warzone 2 Season 3? The Double Cross DMZ mission is not for the faint of heart. It is a Tier 3 Redacted faction mission that will test your skills and abilities to the limit. There are three parts to this quest that you need to complete in order to get the rewards. You must eliminate a powerful enemy commander, seize his weapon, and dispose of it in the dumpster.

Ashika Island is the location of the mission, which is the newest location on the DMZ map. To successfully complete the mission, you need to be well-equipped and well-prepared. You will face tough enemies like the Wheelson and the Bombmaker, both of which require full armor and adequate firepower to overcome.

The Wheelson is a small but demonic ground drone that can kill anything within its radius. To disable the bot, you must use your wits and hacking skills to open the Tsuki Castle’s doors. The Tsuki Castle is located at the center of Ashika Island and is heavily guarded by level 3 Shadow Company soldiers, sentry guns, and tricky guys with riot shields. You must be prepared to face many mines and claymores around each corner.

Once you reach the top floor of the castle, you will encounter a powerful enemy armed with a green-lasered Crossbow. This is the guy you’re looking for as part of this mission – the Bombmaker. You must eliminate him and take his weapon. Once you have defeated the enemy, you can collect his dropped Crossbow. Now, it’s time to take the weapon to dispose of it.

Where to Dispose the Bombmaker’s Crossbow in Double Cross Warzone 2 DMZ Mission

The final objective of the Double Cross DMZ mission is to locate one of the game’s dead drops in Ashika Island and dispose of the Crossbow. Once you find a dead drop, you can just dump it there. However, you must be careful not to store the Crossbow as your third weapon in your backpack. If you do, you risk losing it, and that would be a terrible blow to your mission. Rather, you should have the Crossbow as your primary or secondary gun, as carrying it is a better idea.

To deposit the Bomb Maker’s Crossbow, you can use any of the four Dead Drops on the Ashika Island map. Each Dead Drop is located in a different area of the island, with unique environments and challenges for you to navigate.

Residential Dead Drop

You’ll find the Residential Dead Drop in the Residential POI in the northern part of Ashika Island, inside a white dumpster placed by the fences next to the house shown in the image above. Be cautious of the various NPCs in the area and avoid getting detected.

Science Center Dead Drop

To find the Science Center Dead Drop, you will need to make your way to the Town Center POI in western Ashika Island. It is next to the small shop between the Science Center building and the gas station. The area is heavily guarded, so you need to be extra careful while approaching the Dead Drop. Look out for security cameras, patrolling guards, and other potential threats.

Beach Club Dead Drop

You can find the Beach Club Dead Drop behind the gas station that is opposite the City Hall building. This building is on the western coast of Ashika Island. While the Dead Drop is easy to locate and may have already been used during the Whistleblower mission for the Tier 1 Crown Faction, the area is still heavily guarded.

Waterways Dead Drop

To reach the Waterways Dead Drop, go to Ashika Island’s water tunnel network, also known as Waterway. The Dead Drop is located at the submarine dock beneath Tsuki Castle, where the Bombmaker is. The fastest way to get there is to start at the cave entrance on the south side of the castle. Inside the cave, take the left path and descend down the rope to reach the Waterway. Navigating the tunnels can be challenging due to the lack of light and visibility, but if you successfully reach the Dead Drop, you’ll have completed one of the most difficult parts of the mission.

Conclusion

All that’s left to do is pick one of these four Dead Drops and dispose of the Bombmaker’s Crossbow there. That’s all for this quest, as this was the final part. We hope that this guide helped you complete the Double Cross DMZ Mission in Warzone 2. Once you have completed the quest, you will get the Research Center Room Key and 10K worth of XP. With these rewards in tow, it is clear that the effort and dedication required to complete the Double Cross DMZ mission in Warzone 2 is truly worth it.
