The Redmi 8 features a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Google Camera Installation Steps

Redmi 8 comes with Camera 2 API by default. So, that’s a nice thing. You don’t need to do anything extra. Just follow the basic APK installation steps below:

• Download the Google Camera APK on your Redmi 8. (Internal/External Storage)
