The Vivo V20 SE model comes with a 6.44-inches AMOLED Full-HD+ display, Android 10 (Funtouch OS 11), Snapdragon 665 SoC, Adreno 610 graphics, 8GB RAM, 128GB onboard memory with a card slot, triple rear 48MP+8MP+2MP cameras, a 32MP selfie camera, etc. While the handset packs a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, FM Radio, USB Type-C, etc. It also features a 4,100mAh battery (33W fast charge), an in-display fingerprint sensor, and other sensors.

The Vivo V20 Pro model also has the same display size and resolution with the HDR10 support, Android 10 (Funtouch OS 11), SDM765G SoC, Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB/128GB memory, 64MP+8MP+2MP triple rear cameras, dual 44MP+8MP selfie cameras, a 4,000mAh battery (33W fast charging), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), BT5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, USB Type-C, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and some other major sensors.

While it also features Portrait mode with Focus Slider, PhotoSphere, Lens Blur, Slow Motion, improved camera UI, Advanced Settings, RAW image, Video Stabilization, AR Stickers, Social Sharing menu, etc. Additionally, the available GCam ports are compatible with the Android 10 running devices.

However, some of the specific features aren’t working on the available GCam APK builds for the Vivo V20 series devices.

Steps to Install Google Camera on Vivo V20 Series

The Google Camera APK file installation process is as simple as installing any other third-party APK file. You don’t have to root your device for this.

  • Download the GCam APK file from the download link above and tap on it.
  • Make sure that the Unknown Sources option is enabled on your device. In order to this, go to the device Settings menu > Security/Privacy > enable it. [If already enabled, skip to the installation]
  • It will launch the package installer and tap on the Install button.
  • Once the installation is done, open, and use it.
  • Enjoy!

Steps to Enable Astrophotography Mode on GCam (Vivo V20 Series)

  • Launch Google Camera > Go to Settings.
  • Scroll down a bit and tap on Advanced.
  • Scroll down at the bottom of the page and turn on the ‘Use Astrophotography Mode’ toggle.
  • You’re done.

Make sure to capture the Astrophotography image or Night Sight image using a stand or tripod for stability. Unless your camera gets static the Night Sight mode won’t work that well. The Astrophotography Mode only works on the Night Sight feature.
