OnePlus launched their new smartphone, OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 11R 5G, at the company’s Cloud 11 launch event. Both phones share many visual elements and run on Android 13 out-of-the-box with the company’s OxygenOS 13 interface. The OnePlus 11 sports a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 Quad-HD+ AMOLED screen, whereas the OnePlus 11R features a 6.74-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display offering an adaptive dynamic refresh rate of 40Hz-120Hz.

The Oneplus 11 5G features a 6.7 inches LTPO3 Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is a QHD+ panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ playback and it has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, we get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor built on a 4 nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, two Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and three Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. For handling the graphics-intensive tasks, we have the Adreno 740. The smartphone comes with Android 13 out of the box with OxygenOS 13 skin running on top.
In terms of optics, we get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single selfie camera at the front. The rear camera setup consists of a 50 MP primary sensor paired with an f/1.8 lens, a 48 MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens, and a 32 MP telephoto sensor paired with an f/2.0 lens. The selfie camera at the front is a 16 MP primary sensor paired with an f/2.5 lens. The rear camera setup can capture 8K videos at 24 fps, while the front camera is limited to 1080p video recording.
The smartphone comes in four storage options: 128GB internal storage + 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage + 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage + 16GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage + 16GB RAM. We do not get a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion. In terms of communications, we get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1+L5), NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. And for sensors, we get an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum. Powering it all is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 100W and 80W fast wired charging. With the 100W adapter, the company claims that the device goes from 1% to 100% in just 25 minutes. The smartphone has two colour options: Titan Black and Eternal Green.
