Try to download and install anti-malware or anti-malware application and scan your smartphone. Maybe this can fix all your touchscreen problems. This method only works if your touchscreen problem is not affecting your ability to download apps from the Play Store.

6. Calibrate Touch Screen

If your touchscreen is behaving indifferently and the colors are also somewhat distorted, calibration is the best solution in that case. Take Google Play Store and download Touchscreen calibration App. This is a free app which can detect with improved accuracy and also improves the touch responsiveness. This app calibrates different gestures like single tap, double tap, swipe, zoom and more.

7. Factory Reset Your Device

If none of the above methods works to fix your issue, you can hard reset your Samsung Galaxy. This process will erase all the user data and the device will be reset to default settings like a new smartphone, so don’t forget to keep the backup of your data’s. Press the power button and volume up button simultaneously. Then the phone will restart in recovery mode and you need to navigate (by using volume keys) to “wipe data/factory reset” mode.
