Download iPadOS 13.5.5 Beta 1 on iPad With or Without Developer Account

New updates are added on June 3, 2020: The first beta or the beta 1 of the iPadOS 13.5.5 is now rolling out for the developers as well as the public beta testers. You can download the update by heading over to Settings>>Software Update section to trigger the download. Or you might have received the update via OTA. Note that as of now, it is unclear as to what this new beta 1 update of iPad OS 13.5.5 brings in for the devices.


New updates are added on May 19, 2020: The developer version of the latest iPadOS 13.5 is now available for installation before the public release for the iPad. Note that it brings tons of new features and COVID-19 trackers as well. Here is what the complete changelog of the iPadOS 13.5 reads:

New updates are added on February 23, 2020: Apple has made the iPadOS 13.4 beta 2 update live for the users to download.   1. Go to Apple Developers Page.
  2. Click on the Discover Tab.
  3. Now click on any of the operating system buttons.
  4. Tap on Download.
  5. You will be asked to log in using your developer’s username or password.
  6. Head to the iPadOS 13 beta section and tap the download.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Now open Settings.
  9. Tap on Profile Download.
  10. Tap on Install. (You may need to enter your Passcode)
  11. Press restart and that’s it!

Method 2: How to install iPadOS 13.4 Beta 1 using iTunes

  1. Go to Apple Developers Page.
  2. Click on the Discover Tab.
  3. Now click on any of the operating system buttons.
  4. Tap on Download.
  5. You will be asked to log in using your developer’s username or password.
  6. Head to the iPadOS beta section and download Restore Images.
  7. Click on the iPadOS restore image that matches your device.
  8. Now click on the Applications button at the top of the list of beta software.
  9. Click the Download button next to Xcode 11.
  10. Then, open iTunes on your Mac.
  11. Connect your iPhone to your Mac using the lightning cable.
  12. Click the iPad icon that appears in iTunes.
  13. While holding down the Option key on your Mac’s keyboard, click Check for Update.
  14. You need to tap on Downloads in the sidebar.
  15. Click on the iPadOS restore image.
  16. Now finally click Open.

Method 3: How to install iPadOS 13.4 Beta 1 without Developer Account

  1. Firstly, you need to download the beta profile from this link.
  2. Head over to the Settings.
  3. There will be a new Profile Downloaded menu right below your iCloud name.
  4. Click on Install and then you need to enter the password.
  5. Tap on Install and you need to tap on Install again.
  6. Once your iPad restarts, head over to Settings → General → Software Update.
  7. Here you will notice the iPadOS 13.4 beta 1 update, simply tap Download and Install to get started.
